10th Conference of the Polish Brachytherapy Society

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the Organising Committee, we are pleased to invite you to participate in the 10th Conference of the Polish Brachytherapy Society (PBS) – a milestone edition of one of the most important scientific meetings dedicated to brachytherapy in Poland.

The conference will take place on October 15–16, 2026, in Kraków at the Novotel Kraków Centrum, offering a modern, comfortable setting conducive to both high-level scientific exchange and professional networking.

Held regularly, the PBS Conference serves as a platform for sharing knowledge and experience among radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and representatives of academia and industry. It brings together experts who actively shape contemporary standards of oncological care in Poland and across Europe.

The scientific program will include:

• current guidelines and standards in brachytherapy,
• presentations of clinical outcomes and institutional experience,
• sessions focused on new technologies and treatment optimization,
• interdisciplinary discussions on comprehensive cancer care.

Sessions will be conducted in both English and Polish, featuring distinguished speakers from leading centers in Poland and abroad.

Brachytherapy remains a cornerstone of modern cancer treatment, with over 12,000 patients treated annually in Poland. Its role in the management of prostate, breast, skin, and other malignancies continues to expand, supported by ongoing technological advances that improve both treatment outcomes and quality of life.

We are confident that this anniversary edition of the PBS Conference will provide an excellent opportunity to:
